Cagliari officially announced that the team has signed Angolan star Lu Wenbo.
Lu Wenbo left the Angolan team Luanda on August 1, and after agreeing to join, he signed a contract with Cagliari that expires on June 30, 2025.
This is Lu Wenbo's first landing in European football. According to the update of the German transfer market website, his transfer fee is 1 million euros.
Lu Wenbo has also become the player with the second highest transfer fee in the history of the Angolan League. The current record holder is 2 million Euros Xiao, who joined Lille from Luanda on August 1st last year.
Lu Wenbo, who is only 18 years old this year, is considered the best young player in Angola. He helped the U17 National Youth Team to get third in the U17 Africa Cup last year and reached the U17 World Cup knockout.
